Increasing Solid Edge Command Ribbon Button Size

If you have a high resolution monitor or a visual impairment the default buttons and icons in the Solid Edge Command Ribbon may be too small to see.  There is a way in Solid Edge to increase the size of these icons and buttons.

In Solid Edge, Application Button -> Solid Edge Options -> Helpers toggle on the "Increase buttons on Command Ribbon by 2X" option:


This setting takes effect immediately.  You can see from the before and after screenshots the difference the setting makes.  For both screenshots the Solid Edge window was left at the same overall size:

      Thanks for reading and posting a comment.

      Unfortunately this setting only applies to the Command bar.

      I am not aware of any other settings within Solid Edge to increase the size of the remaining icons, short of increasing the overall icon and font size within Windows itself.

      I would suggest that you get with your Partner or GTAC and submit an enhancement request to allow increasing of *all* icons by 2X.

    not sure if this forum is still active but i have a similar problem too and i have changed the button sizes in the ribbon which has helped. Unfortunently i think the entire resolution on my solid edge st7 is way to small and all the text pretty much everywhere except the help text that pops up is very small and extreamly difficult to read. i would say that even with the 2X size for the buttons it still looks lite the small text in your image, even a bit smaller. I think it is something to do with the entire resolution in solid edge that needs to be changed but i do not know how. I had a similar problem in another program that i could not solve. I have chnaged the normal resolution for the screen but the program remains the same. If you have any suggestions it would be very helpfull. Thank you

    I couldn't change the ribbon size. in my software its inactive how can I activate it. my solid edge is 2019.
